With the growth of the wireless market and higher adoption rates of mobile users, the need to test new products and configurations to support this growth market is critical.  The S435 in the Density Series is a terrific platform for a test lab environment with the ability to simulate multiple laptops in a single 7U chassis.  Using actual laptops is more expensive and difficult to manage - not to mention that they tend to "walk away".

By adding third-party cards, users can enable wireless networking.  It is even possible to build a "wireless bridge" between wireless users and the hard wired LAN by utilizing the integrated Ethernet ports of the S435 with a wireless networking card.

Remote communications such as remote control is easy to add to the S435 by adding a modem card and remote control software.  Long distance server control is more easily deployed using the CardBus interface.

Solid state drives can help ease concerns of the relatively higher failure rates of hard drives.  Deploying a solid state CardBus drive in the S435 eliminates moving drive parts and improves the computer's reliability.
