Configuration #3 - Large Scale DNS & DHCP
Our customer in Example #2 has experienced a huge
growth in business and has doubled the number of
employees using browsers and tripled the number
of customers accessing their e-business site. He
expands services (adds two blades) in the MSA 800
unit that he started with, and he adds another
MSA 800 to host additional subdomains. Sixteen Cubix server blades
are packaged in two 7U Multi Server Appliance 800
chassis. The blades are completely
independent of one another in regards to power
and I/O connections, but they do share n+1
redundant power supplies, built-in K/V/M switch,
floppy drive and switched CD-ROM drive. This
saves space, lowers costs, reduces power
requirements and improves availability with fault
tolerant features.
