Configuration #2 - DNS & DHCP Services
The DNS servers are configured as in Example #1 for high availability and we have
added an additional secondary server because of
an increased number of queries for this
particular customer. A pair of DHCP servers (one
primary and one secondary) have been added to
allocate dynamic addresses.Six Cubix server blades are
packaged in a single 7U Multi Server Appliance
800 chassis (there is unused capacity for two
additional server blades for future
expansion). The blades are completely
independent of one another in regards to power
and I/O connections, but they do share n+1
redundant power supplies, built-in K/V/M switch,
floppy drive and switched CD-ROM drive. This
saves space, lowers costs, reduces power
requirements and improves availability with fault
tolerant features.
