| For some projects, the
safety and integrity of the data stored by the
server is crucial. The RR4612 RAID ready
server offers internal or external RAID
capabilities. Four RR4612 servers can be hosted
in a single Density D401 chassis, each capable of
supporting a three-drive, single-channel RAID
array internally in the chassis. If an external RAID array
is preferred, the one-channel RAID card provides
an external port. Dual-channel external RAID
support can be provided by upgrading the RAID
controller card.
