The Wollensak Cassette Duplicator was introduced in 1973 and produced by the 3M
company until 1984 when the product line was sold to Universal Tape. Universal Tape
sold the product line in 1993 to another company.
KMR only carries the pressure roller: P/N 0186-2910
The schematics that appear on the following pages are for the 2770 series with serial
numbers above 4000. If you have a duplicator with a serial number below 4000 some of
the parts are on different circuit boards than the later production units but the schematics
will be helpful as a guide just the same. Beware of the switches on the cassette pockets
of the 2270 duplicator that sense if the compartment contains a cassette. A low level
signal goes through these microswitches and if they are not in great shape it will cause
early rewind of the duplication run.
