Line. Before starting with Windows 98 upgrade, it is suggested:
Due to the fact that the upgrade operation takes quite a long time it is strongly
recommended to proceed with this operation powering the system through the AC Power
Supply.
Update the BIOS, drivers and software enhancements in order to maintain the
functionality of the system.
Connect and power-on all the peripherals to be used with the system.
Choose "yes" when asked,to save the files necessary to recover
the previous Windows ’95 installation. Before doing that make sure to have enough
space on HDU (about 50 ÷ 80Mb required).
This operation will come in useful in case of whichever kind of problems either during
the upgrading to Windows 98, or during the normal use of the O.S.
Olivetti Euro Computers suggests to keep the above mentioned files unless it is
absolutely needed to use that space on HDU.
