A really clean Hewlett Packard 21MX minicomputer that is just LOADED with boards, options and memory! I don't pretend to know much about these old systems but from what I find on the web ... this was the biggest of the bunch, REALLY expensive [and all the options and extra boards were probably as much as the computer originally cost!]. AKA Hp-1000 ..... The front card cage [Memory] has six cards ... 4 each marked 16K MOD [Wow .. a whole 64K of memory!}, a MEM CONTR and the top card is marked DCPC [dual channel port controler .. I think?] .... the rear cage also has 6 cards installed: 7970 MAG TAPE 1, 7970 MAG TAPE 2, HS TERMINAL, CRT INTERFACE, D-43879 and D-40970. Check out the cool bootstrap operation card on the front. The whole unit is in VG+ condition ... great front panel! Lots of lights and switches !!

When power is applied it spins up and a red light blinks inside the power supply but ... I couldn't get any of the switches to do anything ... still, a very neat old Minicomputer with lots of lights [28 of them!] and switches [22 rocker style switches] on the front panel. Measures 19" X 12" X 24" deep. The data plates in pix #4 are on the inside of the front panel. Great condition ... front panel is very good [a few light scratches and a little tape residue on the upper beige portion] and includes the original key .. the top cover has a light scratch .. otherwise looks great. Interior is very clean. Includes original sides, top and bottom covers. Neat old relic of earlier .. pre-PC computing. Well packed shipping weight will be 66 pounds from zip code 24012. Due to the size and fragility of this item, there will be a $10 charge for properly done safe packing. FedEx Ground will be the only shipping option available.
