The Fairchild F8

General Information

The F8 was Fairchild's 1st processor. It was targeted as an
inexpensive processor for service and control applications (gas pumps,
vending machines, cash registers. It included 64 bytes of
"scratchpad" RAM to enable two chip implementations (2nd chip
being a ROM such as the 3851). |
