What are Cubix Plug-in Computers
and How to Identify the Different Models

The ERS II System has the capability to hold up to eight individual computers. Each computer consists of a BC Series single board computer that plug into the backplane of the ERS II System. The backplane is divided into "groups". Each Group is electronically independent, and can be powered on or off, or reset from controls on the systems front panel.

Each plug-in computer contains all the functions you would normally find in a standard desktop computer, such as video, IDE and SCSI, and floppy drive support, Ethernet 10/100 Base-t, and serial and parallel ports.
