CONFIGURING YOUR SYSTEM

By default, each RemoteServ/IS processing subsystem is preconfigured with the following options:

· NetBEUI protocol

· TCP/IP protocol

· SNMP Protocol

· IPX protocol

· WinFrame® Console

· 15 WinFrame® Winstations for each installed protocol

· WorldDesk Applink

· GlobalVision Agent (active)

· Computername = CUBIX# (where # is the backplane group number in the RemoteServ/IS chassis)

· Workgroup = REMOTESERV

· WorldDesk Cluster = REMOTESE

After applying power to your system, log in using ‘Administrator’ as the user name, and no password. The system will display the RemoteServ/IS greeting followed by the WinFrame® Program Manager.

If your system has not been configured to meet your needs at the factory, make the following changes to your system configuration:

Configure Your WinFrame Server
