Chapter 4 - Troubleshooting


Problem Solution
Power LED will not light Do the following:
  1. Make sure the power cord is connected securely at both ends.
  1. Check the fuse at location F1 of the power supply for continuity. Before removing the lid, make sure the power is off and the power cable removed. If the fuse is blown, replace it with an 8Amp 5x20mm SB fuse.

If neither of the above solutions work, contact Cubix for technical assistance.

LAN LED will not light.
  1. Ensure the LAN adapter cable is attached to both the LAN port at WorldDesk Commuter’s rear panel and the network hub. Make sure the hub power is on.
  2. Try another cable.

If problem persists, consult the documentation associated with your network or contact Cubix for technical assistance.

"Ready" LED will not light but, the "Power" LEDis illuminated. Do the following:
  1. Power off WorldDesk Commuter by unplugging the power cord. Restart WorldDesk Commuter by plugging the power cord back in.
  2. Make sure there are active servers on the network. No active servers could cause this problem.

If problem persists, contact Cubix for technical assistance.
