Troubleshooting
PROBLEM POSSIBLE CAUSE SOLUTION 1) System does 1) not plugged in 1) plug in power not turn on cords 2) switch not 2) turn switch turned on on at rear of 3) bad power drawer supply 3) replace power 4) power supply supply fault 4) turn AC switch off and on again 2) Power supply 9 wire cable from Check cable to be on LEDs and power supply to sure it is seated video not on mux is defective and locked in place 3) Peripheral shunting board not check to be sure boards not installed or shunting board is working in some seated properly fully seated slots 4) No video 1) DB HD 15 video 1) check cable cable not seated for connection 2) mux processor 2) press select set to PROCESSOR unused channel pushbutton to locate next active processor channel 5) Keylock keylock cable not Reseat connector switch not locked working correctly 6) Muxed floppy 1) BIOS not set 1) run "setup" does not work 2) cables not 2) check power connected and data cables for connection and proper polarization 7) IDE hard 1) cables not on 1) check power disk drive properly and data cables (HDD) does not for connection work and proper 2) BIOS not set polarity 2) run "setup" 3) IDE controller and configure HDD switched off on BC 3) turn on switch processor (see BC installation manual for instructions) 8) Power supply Power supply fuse Remove power will not work is blown supply assembly after turning and replace fuse power off and with same type back on and rating 9) Mouse cursor Mouse was moved Exit application stuck near during processor and restart side, top, or channel change application bottom of driver screen
Preventative Maintenance
Periodically, do the following:
1. Ensure that the system fan is operating.
2. Clean floppy drive heads with standard head cleaning floppy disk and cleaner.
