The 2031 is a single drive, 5-1/4 inch floppy, disk unit. It uses a 35
track, 48 TPI, single headed drive:
- High profile - Shugart drive assembly
- Low profile - Alps drive assembly
It is an intelligent device, containing its own microprocessor, RAM,
ROM and operating systems software.
