The perils of publication delays: yesterday I got my June 2003 copy of Linux Journal, and it contained a review of SCO Linux 4. The review itself was entirely appropriate, but the timing was terrible. Just a few days before, SCO launched its attack on Linux, and in the process stopped sales of SCO Linux 4. This pretty much obviated the whole review.
None of this is Linux Journal's fault - of course - but it never hurts my feelings to see a competitor take a hit.
I write for Linux Magazine :-)
Maybe I'll have to subscribe to Linux Magazine then, instead of Linux Journal...
